Supporting Serenity House Oakland Through Community Giving

At its core, community is about showing up for one another.

Recently, we had the opportunity to donate essential hygiene items—including socks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, pads, and panty liners—to Serenity House Oakland, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women heal, rebuild, and move forward after experiencing homelessness, addiction, violence, and incarceration.

For more than 15 years, Serenity House has provided critical services that help women regain stability and independence. Through recovery programs, supportive housing, counseling, domestic violence services, and workforce development opportunities, they create pathways toward lasting change and brighter futures.

While these items may seem simple, access to basic necessities can make a meaningful difference for someone working to rebuild their life. Dignity often starts with meeting essential needs, and we're honored to contribute in a small way to that process.

One of the most encouraging parts of this experience was seeing how community support comes together. Positive change doesn't always require large-scale efforts or enormous resources. It can begin with a simple donation, a volunteer shift, or a group of people deciding to help where they can.

Organizations like Serenity House remind us that when individuals come together with a shared purpose, lives can be transformed. Every contribution matters, and every act of support helps strengthen the community as a whole.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support Serenity House Oakland and the important work they do every day. We look forward to continuing to partner with organizations that are making a real difference and helping build stronger, more connected communities.

Because when people show up for each other, amazing things happen.
